Coach King is a native of Pensacola, FL. He attended B.T. Washington High School where he played soccer, golf, and tennis. After high school, Coach King played soccer at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL. After a successful freshman season ended with injury, he decided to transfer to the University of Alabama. During his time at Alabama, Coach King began working with high school soccer programs in Birmingham at Mountain Brook High School. Upon graduation from UA with his bachelor's in History, Coach King moved back to Pensacola and began coaching club and high school soccer with the Gulf Coast Texans and Tate High School respectively. After five years at the helm of Tate HS, Coach King was given an opportunity to come to Gulf Breeze to take over the Boy's Soccer program and teach in the Social Studies Department. He also has begun coaching at Bayside Soccer Club. He currently lives in Gulf Breeze with his wife Coach King, and their dogs, Penny Lane and Paul "Poggy" Pogba. Coach and his wife are expecting the arrival of their first child Lexi Grace in December2020. His favorite historical time periods are the Age of Exploration and the American Civil War.
